Director Job Description

1.  Set up advisory board and meet with them as needed.

2.  Be available to the board members and coordinators of activities.

3.  Oversee operation of the group and give encouragement and support.

4.  Call board meetings, including meetings to

• update job descriptions in early March
• to assign jobs after the returning member applications have been received
• revise or rewrite the online application form\

5.  Communicate purpose of group through the FAITHCharlotte email chain.

6.  Oversee spending of funds and make decisions regarding them.

7.  Follow up with board members to ensure all jobs are running smoothly.

8.  May need to be peacekeeper as well as a policymaker with the help of the advisory board.
